My declaration to the world

Today was the Sugars farewell so we were all up at the homestead. After I had totally pigged out on good food I was talking to Eugie, my sister-in-law, and I just happened to tell her that I wanted to lose weight and get in shape. So what does she do? Goes all missionary on me and starts to push me in all sorts of commitments. Whoa whoa whoa it was more of a happy thought, you know a good intention. Well seeing as she is "professional athletic life trainer" I started to realize that I should listen to her. That and she gave me clothing that I could use to exercise outside in the winter. I knew then that she was committed to making me commit. So I did. I have committed to run a 5K on Christmas morning. It is this thing that she is doing. People that she knows across the country are setting goals to run where ever they may be on Christmas morning. I am going to be apart of that. So to make my commitment firm I am publishing it to the interweb world. Now I am responsible to whoever may come across my blog. So watch for updates and don't forget to give me encouragement. I am going to need it.

Go Rachel Go! Go Rachel Go! That is all the encouragement I have to give so far before the race. I voted that you would fake an injury b/c that was the funny option, But I look forward to hearing that you smoked your sister-in-law!

You won't make it. My past experience with the Gunderson clan has shown that you are all just talk. How many times have I heard Kellen refer to himself as the greatest cyclist of all time? A lot. He also claims that he invented the color yellow. This claim is dubious at best. At least you fit in with the family.

Richard I need your help with a question. Which Gunderson signed up for LOTOJA then never rode it? Which Gunderson volunteered two years in a row to raise money for an MS charity ride then never raised the money but showed up and rode anyway? Which Gunderson did that... I can't remember.

PS to Richard-

I have NEVER claimed to be the greatest cyclist of all time. I would NEVER defame Eddy Merckx in such a fashion. I did invent the color yellow.

False

I had a legitimate knee injury that stopped me from competing. Also, I raised money both years for the MS 150...just not as much as required to ride.

His Royal Sweetness failed to raise any money either year.
